After graduating from McMaster University, I completed five years working as a Chartered Accountant and including two years as a manager of the Small Business Audit Group in Toronto.

In 1985, I left public accounting and have been working in the real estate and construction industries since that time.

I am the President of Scarlett Homes Ltd. and since 1987 I have built and sold hundred's of new and resale homes throughout the Hamilton, Ancaster, Burlington, Oakville and surrounding areas.

I was a member of the Board of Directors of the Ontario Home Builders Association and the Hamilton Halton Home Builders Association in 1997-1999 and was elected President of the Hamilton Halton Home Builders' Association in 1999. I stayed on as Past President in 2000. I remain a member of the Hamilton, Ontario and Canadian Home Builders Associations.
